We are experienced kayakers, so we rented one tandem kayak for a half day. The staff was very friendly and helpful about locations for the best kayaking, and we received a plastic coated map which was easy to follow. The staff told us where we could see sharks, and we did see one. We kayaked through dense areas of mangroves and coasted by a white crane who did not fly away as we passed it. The area did not have many boats passing us by and the area was generally protected from the wind. There is a lot of development around there so it is not a wilderness experience, but once you are deep in the mangroves, it does not matter.

Great staff, we always rent at least twice a visit. The mangroves are so peaceful. We usually see marine life - tarpins, nurse sharks, etc. - this time we saw a stingray breach the water.

Rented a kayak and paddled through the mangroves and out to the Atlantic. Thousands of jelly fish in the water. Fun navigating through channels of thick mangroves. The staff were super friendly.
