I have 2 girls/2 boys. None of which have ever done anything like this. The girls are 10 and 13. The 13 year old has very high anxiety. I personally didn’t expect her to get through this and I told her it’s ok if she didn’t want to. I expressed to CJ (our guide) if he has anything to help her feel extra comfortable she needs it. Let me tell you, she ended up swimming 20’ under the sea with me! In fact everyone was. Ha! I never saw the boys, as they took off around a reef! They loved their guide too! I wish I remembered everyone’s name because they were all awesome. They made the experience the highlight of our vacation. The only downside is now all my kids want to be certified divers 🤑

I've done a lot of snorkeling but have been apprehensive of going after my scuba cert. This was a wonderful 50/50 to test drive scuba-ish diving. Diana took us out to the Sand Key Lighthouse, then Ben took us through pathways between coral heads while we dragged a 20ft air line. I'm definitely going to coordinate with Ben to get my scuba cert soon.

The entire crew was fantastic. CJ was an excellent instructor and helped me through my first few moments of panic really well. This off season trip was especially enjoyable because of the smaller crowds!
