I have 2 girls/2 boys. None of which have ever done anything like this. The girls are 10 and 13. The 13 year old has very high anxiety. I personally didn’t expect her to get through this and I told her it’s ok if she didn’t want to. I expressed to CJ (our guide) if he has anything to help her feel extra comfortable she needs it. Let me tell you, she ended up swimming 20’ under the sea with me! In fact everyone was. Ha! I never saw the boys, as they took off around a reef! They loved their guide too! I wish I remembered everyone’s name because they were all awesome. They made the experience the highlight of our vacation. The only downside is now all my kids want to be certified divers 🤑
