I have to be totally honest it wasn’t a great experience. The day was beautiful and the boat ride out and back was great. Hunter, our guide, was awesome; so very personable and patient. My husband and I made it into the water all geared up but it didn’t last long for my husband. His mask did not have a good seal due to his mustache. He kept trying but to no avail. He had to go back to the boat and get out. I continued on for awhile but eventually got out to keep my husband company. Had we have known in advance that there was a chance of a not-so-good seal with a mustache, he would have shaved it. Instead we spent over $300 for an excursion we really did not enjoy. I believe the experience would have been awesome had we have known that tiny little fact. I recommend to SNUBA Key West that they put in their recommendations for those considering the experience to have no mustache or at least give a warning there is a chance for a leaky mask.

Wife and I had an awesome time on our snuba adventure while we were honeymooning in Key West. CJ was our snuba guide and did a very thorough and detailed job of making sure all onboard the trip understood the proper way to experience snuba, you could tell that safety is one of their top priorities. We were able to dive around a reef and saw a bunch of different fish, including a nurse shark! Thank you again CJ, Captain Ted and the rest of the crew for the unforgettable experience!

Great experience with CJ as our guide! We felt safe and saw plenty of cool fishes! The photographer Jake took tons of cool pictures and Hunter had good energy :)
