This was SUCH a fun experience.
The main/lower part of the boat had 6-7 booths for various party sizes to sit in throughout the experience and, once we left the harbor, everyone was welcome to wander the upper deck. There was also some seating in the upper deck. It was relatively easy to spread out and find your own space away from others (even on a Saturday cruise). They board ~20 minutes before departure time. Itās smart to be in line early so you can snag a booth.
I highly recommend checking your sunset time and maximizing your pre-sunset time on the boat because it got a little chilly on the water once the sun went down. We had a 4:30pm departure and a ~5:45pm sunset which was perfect. Bringing a jacket or other layering canāt hurt.
The drinks and food were great quality. Never stingy or a long wait at the open bar, but light appetizers so plan to eat before or after.
The music was fantastic and made a huge difference in the experience. I recommend bringing cash to tip the musicians and the bartenders.
The views were lovely. Tons of other catamarans, sail boats and yachts were also out on the water to enjoy the sunset, so the horizon was breathtaking (and filled with sails). Even with the wake of a few boats nearby, our captain kept the ride steady throughout. He also turned us a few times so no one had a bad seat.
If youāre looking for a fun time - this experience is absolutely worth the splurge!
