Key West Sushi Sunset Cruise

Overview
Looking for the perfect way to end your day? Join us on the Seabreeze and ride in comfort with this relaxing, catered cruise into the horizon on Key West’s gentle seas. Relax in the shade under the bimini or sunbathe on the bow to take in that last bit of sunshine. Sunset Cruises are a Key West luxury with our panoramic views of the sun melting into tropical waters – and the best way to enjoy it is with good food and great drinks!

Departing from the Garrison Bight Marina, your sunset cruise will take you on a unique path away from the rush of boats leaving downtown. This exclusive cruise is a great way to start your night out, celebrate a special occasion, or bring your stay to a close with an easy-going route through the Key West Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.

We operate year-round at reduced capacity for a more intimate experience for our guests. You’ll get to know our crew and maybe meet some friends along the way. We also have a full marine head (bathroom) for your convenience.

Had a PERFECT sunset cruise with Jason and Keyanna this past week. Both were professional but laid back. Had a huge sushi boat that was delicious along with soft drinks, beer/wine. Perfect night. Highly recommend.

Ok, there was a boat, beer and sushi but none of it really met what was expected from the description. They packed 30 people on the boat, barely enough room to sit and the seating is not at all comfortable. The sushi was delivered to the boat at 5pm by van, it was not put on ice or any kind of cooling but just left to sit in the heat...it definitely did not taste that great. For the "premium beer" was Michelin ultra, bud, bud light and stella. The other "hors d'oeuvres" on hand were some slived baguettes, some meat slices (also left out in the heat) and several cheese which had warmed enough that they were spreadable. We saw the 5pm sushi delivery because we got there at 5pm as instructed for a 530pm departure. They loaded us onto the boat at 530 but then kept waiting as more people kept arriving by the same van that brought the sushi. We didn't depart until after 6pm. So yes, they technically did meet the wording of their description. However all of the food offered raised questions as to safety with most of it meeting ir missing the bare minimums of what was expected.

Good afternoon and thank you for your submission. The Sunset Harbor Cruise on Seabreeze, a 45-foot Corinthian powercat, is Coast Guard-rated for 49 passengers, plus crew. We have found that everyone has a place to sit if we limit the number of passengers to the low 30's. You'll find that many other "Split Charter" (individual tickets) sunset cruises often have more than twice that number of passengers. Our meats, cheeses, and pastries are picked up Croissants De France and delivered by van. The sushi boat actually comes from the Thai Island restaurant directly in front of the dock. The food is walked over 100 yards from the restaurant and made fresh daily immediately before the charter disembarks. We believe Thai Island is one of the finest restaurants in all of Key West and firmly stand behind their product. We do serve imported (Stella Artois) and domestic beer (Bud, Bud Light) along with wine, prosecco, and hard seltzers. We believe that the food and drinks on Barefoot Billy's sunset cruise are as fine of quality as any other charter in Key West. Unfortunately, guests sometimes do fall behind. On occasion, there can be a slight delay in departure times. We do apologize if another guest was running late. We try to accommodate everyone so we all have a wonderful time watching that world-famous Key West Sunset. We do hope you give us another try when you return to our island. We'll do our best to compliment the world's best sunset with our very best service efforts and restaurant-quality cuisine. If you survey similar cruises we believe you'll find our staff, service, and product as fine as any available here in the Conch Republic. Have a wonderful day!
