My wife and daughter and I set aside a day during our Oahu vacation to tour with Scott. I felt like Scott might be a good tour guide after following him for many weeks on YouTube during the eruption. After spending time with him in person on our tour, I feel he may be one of the greatest ambassadors the big island has at this time. He seems to have love and knowledge of the island and great respect for the local culture. Scott was very inclusive during the tour to my whole family even though my wife was limited due to physical disability and my daughter has some learning challenges. I believe whichever tour you purchase with this company will be a high quality tour. Thanks Scott.

Scott is a great tour guide! He is also a really nice guy. He lived in Lelani Estates during the 2018 eruption (& still does). We learned a lot about the Big Island and the eruption. He personalized our tour for what we wanted to see and the time we had available. I also wanted to find a local tour guide instead of a big company. Apau Hawaii Tours was everything we wanted, we learned a lot, and I highly recommend the tour.

We met up with Scott in the morning, knowing little of what we were about to see. His private lot gives you everything and more from a tour perspective, with one of the best things being... no other people around. You get to explore the land together coming across new and different findings. What an awesome guy also, no pressure on time if you want to stop for pictures etc and you can genuinely feel his excitement almost as if he also can’t believe what he’s seeing. I just had to leave some pictures for people to see a little taster. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR TOUR! There is no other area like this that you can get to that’s open to the public!
