Rim Tours was an excellent choice for our day of mountain biking in Moab. They have an excellent reputation and a long history in Moab. We visited for two days last week and wanted to do a ride the first day. We were grateful that it was a slow time of the season and were able to book one for two hours later that same day. The office staff were super helpful and accommodating. Our excellent guide Sam, showed up at our hotel with everything we needed, including a bike and helmet for me. This was a last-minute side trip and I did not have my gear. Sam was so knowledgeable about the area and its history. It was also fun to listen to his passion for the sport come through in our conversations. We could not have asked for a better guide and beautiful day. We will be back for a multi-day ride in the future!

My husband and I booked a tour with Rim Tours online. I emailed back and forth with Melissa to determined what tour was best for two riders with limited experience. She made a great suggestion for Klondike Bluffs. On the day of the tour, Dave picked us up at the meet up spot. He was early and very friendly. We drove out to the tour location together in the Rim Tours van. Dave helped us set the bikes up and showed us the ropes on the amazing mountain (BRAND NEW) bikes that they provide. Dave was super knowledgeable, rode with us to our abilities, and stopped when we needed breaks. The group was only my husband, myself, and Dave which was excellent. I had been very worried when we were booking the tour that we would potentially be holding other people up on the tour who may have been more experienced than my husband and I. Thankfully I didn't need to worry about this at all! The tour was very challenging and really an amazing experience.

This was the first of two tours we did with Rim at the end of May 2019, two days apart. We had to reschedule due to weather, which they accommodated happily. They sent us out with bikes fitted to us each personally based on weight and height, the bikes were brand new and worked perfectly. Our guide, Matt, was chill and friendly, and gave good instructions about how to use the bikes properly, including lots of tips on how to move your body and navigate obstacles. He also did a great job of making everyone on the 6-person tour (3 with my party and a mom and her 2 teenage sons) feel confident and capable. There was a bit of a wide range of ability and fitness level, and I think everyone would say they had a good experience. Overall, this trip is great for people with moderately good to high level fitness and endurance. It was easier than the Dead Horse trail we did 2 days later- we were really happy to have done Klondike first and the more technical one after we had a chance to get used to the equipment and physical demands. However, both trails were extremely physically challenging. We were very ready for the breaks to catch our breath at each trail fork. I definitely recommend this company!
