Tour guide taught us really interesting things about plants. We paused at different times which were a good time for a break. Hike was a good challenge level for new hikers.

The view was amazing. The guide knew all the tricks on how to navigate the path and where to go. The guide was a wealth of knowledge not just when it came to plant life, but also local history. Great trip!

We did the Ko’olau waterfall hike, downhill bike ride and a few days later came back for the volcanic rainforest hike. All awesome, with a great guide Teri, so knowledgeable. Good logistics, safe, and interesting. Best thing is the native Hawaiian forest on part of the Volcanic Rainforest hike. Bonus- they recycle.
