We did a 7.30am tour on our first morning in Kauai. This early start worked well for us as we adjusted from EST. Our guides were Ben and Shenaia (sp?) and they were super fun but also knew what they were doing and made us all feel safe. They cap the groups at 12 people, which is a great number to keep us moving without having to wait super long for your turn. There were young kids in our group, who all did great and the guides knew when to have them go tandem based on weight etc. This an expensive adventure BUT worth it - 8 lines varying in height, speed, and length. And on certain lines, you have the option to cruise (normal sitting position), fly, or even go upside down. The scenery is beautiful too as you zip over and through tree canopies and next to the reservoir. The last line - the longest - is especially amazing! There is some walking between lines but no super steep climbs up towers. They also provided granola bars and water and juice along the way. We had 12 people in our group and, start to finish (including getting and returning equipment and driving to-from the site), it took the full 3.5 hours. It was a morning well spent! We highly recommend Koloa Zipline!
