Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

This was such a great experience for our whole family. I had been nervous about doing this since it was at night, and I didn't know what to expect with regards to the lights and how many manta rays we would see. However, as soon as we arrived it was easy to see there was nothing to be nervous about. We took a short (as in 1 minute) boat ride to where we eased into the water. Jeremy was waiting in the water for us with the float for us to all gather around. We just floated easily while hanging on to their "raft" and Jeremy gave us great information about each Manta Ray that visited us. We were lucky to see 3 huge, magnificent manta rays! After watching them for about 35 minutes, it was time to climb back in the boat. Before we went, I was thinking 35 minutes in the water wasn't very long, but after being in the water, the cold gets to you and it was just the right amount of time. I highly recommend this company and this experience!

We did the night snorkel with manta rays two nights ago and will never forget it! I was nervous at first as these amazing creatures can get up to 20 feet wide, but after asking a bunch of questions to our guide on the dock and learning facts about them, the fear was gone. The guides all answered any crazy questions I had and were super nice which was awesome. We had so much fun. It's unreal how close they come to you and do flips right under you. This is the only place in the world that they do this. Don't miss out! Thank you My Kona Adventures!
