This is our third trip with a Bite Me crew in the last few years. This time we went out with Andy and Tommy of Bite Me 3. Luck favored us yet again: with Andy and Tommy's expert help, we reeled in a 150-pound yellowfin tuna! So far we've been 3 for 3 with Bite Me, pulling in a total of 4 fish over three disparate trips. A matter of luck, for sure, but also a tribute to their expertise in seeking out fishing grounds, helping us fight the beasts, and cutting us several pounds' worth of tuna steaks. Will certainly go fishing with them again next time we're on the Big Island.

Aloha, Thank you for the review and sharing your charter experience with us. We love good successful fishing stories! Our captains and crew defiantly use knowledge but you need a good amount of luck as well. We will see you the next time your back, and hopefully we can go for another successful fishing charter. Thank you Captain Chad and Sandy for the awesome deep sea fishing experience this morning! Chad and Sandy were happy to share their expertise with us. We were thrilled to catch a 102 pound yellow fin tuna! What a great first time out experience!

Aloha, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. 102 pound yellow fin that's a good fish to fight, and a yummy fish to eat! Once again thanks for sharing your experience with us. We hope you enjoyed your stay on the Big Island and had safe travels home. Mahalo, Bite Me Sportfishing Charter Team.

From the time we boarded "Ocean Encounters", chartered via Bite Me Sport Fishing, we were made to feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe. Shortly after we were aboard the first fish hit. The team, led by Captain Taylor along with crew members 'Kai & Ian, showed their excitment for the first 'fish on' which was contagious and continued through our 1/2 day trip. They took great care of my 85 year old dad who was the first of four anglers to reel in a huge catch. He landed a swordfish! They made sure he was hydrated and able to land his catch via clear instructions and guidance. The excitement continued when nephew and sister landed 100lb+ Ahi Tuna. After a fun time snorkeling, the fourth catch of the day, an Ono, was landed by my brother! A fun time was had by all. It was great to be around a crew who loves what they do and take steps to ensure all those aboard have a great time. The vessel was comfy for our party of eight. We had expectations of a cabin with AC, but got by without it. They provided breakfast treats, but we were told to bring our own. My nephew was happy to eat ours and thiers. Go on first days of your stay so you can enjoy dining on your catch. Clearly state what you want done with your catch so the crew can accomodate you and your party.
