Even though everyone scheduled for our tour (6 people total) were there and ready by the check-in time (45 min prior to start time!!) , we started late because the workers were chatting among themselves. The horses weren't ready and nothing was efficient. We started about 20-25 minutes late and our tour guide was rude. One of the rules was to not allow your horse to eat while on tour, and to stop them if they try, you have to pull back on the reins. My horse kept trying to eat and it was visible to our entire group that I was using my full body strength to try and pull on the reins but she kept yelling at me as if it was my fault. It made me question the care the horses receive. One of the horses had a huge gash on its' chest above its' left leg and looked depressed - no clear answers were given about how it happened when we asked. It was one of the larger horses which made us think it couldn't have been from another horse because none of the others were larger or appeared to be stronger than that one. The valley is beautiful and it could have been fun, but there are some serious concerns here- Will not return.
