Maddie our guide was wonderful. She made sure we were safe and led us on a wonderful scenic trip around Kualoa Ranch. Good for beginners because it is a nose to tail ride. Our experienced rider was hoping for a little more freedom.

We did the 2 hour tour and had a very enjoyable ride. Our guide Ava did a great job in guiding the group and in explaining the area. Very scenic trail including going by a few movie sites. Nice facility including having platforms that makes it easy to get on and to dismount the horses. The ranch offers a bus shuttle option from Waikiki but the pickup times are limited so we ended up taking an Uber ride going to the ranch and taking their shuttle back which worked out fine. Well worth a visit.

This tour really begins once you pull into the drive way. The views are breathtaking! I took the two hour Jurassic park horse riding tour and from start to finish it was amazing. Once they have you on the horse they quickly go over the essentials of riding a horse. Easy peasy for anyone including children. I would highly suggest going on the 2 hour tour as opposed to the 1 hour, because they can only take groups of 6-8 people on the 2 hour ride, which makes it feel more of a private tour. I cannot remember my tour guides name (sorry) but she and all the staff there were absolutely wonderful. The horse ride was very relaxing and the views were beyond beautiful. It was a few years since being on a horse so a little discomfort was felt towards the end of the ride. Maybe stretching beforehand might help. I would go back here in a heartbeat!
