What To Expect

Kualoa Ranch

After making your own way to Kualoa Ranch, hop aboard a large Swiss Pinzgauer off-road vehicle, which was originally designed for military use. With 6-wheel-drive and a tough exterior, the Pinzgauer is the perfect vehicle to navigate the steep and rugged back-country terrain of the working cattle ranch

We enjoyed this tour even though it rained on us. We had kids age 3, 11, and 14. We cut it close with check in and instead or 45 min early got there with 15 to spare. It was tight checking in, parking is not easy, going to bathroom, then finding the right tour line. One of the stops had a nice 5 minute hike up stairs for a view which one of us did not do with 3 yo. Saw a couple movie sites, but the views of ocean and valleys were spectacular.

This is a must do! If you get Uncle Koa as a tour guide it’ll make the ride even more enjoyable! He’s such a fun upbeat person who loves what he does!
