What To Expect
1
Halona Blowhole
Located on the East side, Halona Blowhole is a beautiful sight, this stop overlooks Halona Beach Cove (Cockroach Cove) and the Kaiwi coast, which was featured in 50 first dates, Pirates of the Caribbean, From here to Eternity and many more! We will stop 15mins here to take in the view and try to capture a photo of the Halona Blow hole blowing! During whale season (Nov.-May) because of its depths, this is a great place to view Whales splashing close to shore!
2
Makapuu Lighthouse
Our next stop will be the famous Makapu'u Lighthouse. This stop gives you an ariel view of the East side, rabbit Island and Sea life park!
3
Manoa Chocolate Hawaii
Yum, chocolate lovers, this is a must. Located in the popular city of Kailua, sits a local chocolate factory dedicated to sustainability and creating a quality chocolate. You will be able to taste an arrangement of chocolates as well as learn the process and culture of our Island. Nearby are popular coffee shops and stores to check out before we head to lunch.
4
Kualoa Ranch
This is by far one of the coolest spots on the Island. This ranch sits between the ocean and steep Koolau mountains creating breathtaking views. Almost every jungle/beach/Dinosaur movie in has been filmed here. This is where we will grab lunch. A true attribute to Hawaii cuisine there are many options from beef and shrimp ethically raised at the ranch, to vegetarian options there is something for everyone. Don't forget to check out the Hall of fame which features photos of actors that have filmed their!
5
Kualoa Regional Park
Across the street from Kualoa ranch sits a magnificent beach, with sites of Chinaman's hat! The calm waters make it a great place to swim, snorkel, or just relax taking in the views.
6
Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet)
After our time at the beach what better way for a pick me up, then free coffee and Mac nuts at the Mac nut farm. This is a great place to grab local products and gifts to bring home.
7
Tantalus Lookout Puu Ualakaa State Park
Better than Pali Lookout! Feel like you are on top of the Island at the Tantalus lookout. You will get a drone view of the South Shore overlooking, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Waikiki and Honolulu.
