PLEASE BE IN THE KAYAK SHOP 1 HOUR BEFORE TOUR START TIME, Allow time for parking and gear set up
Expect to get wet, please wear appropriate clothes such as a bathing suit and shoes that can get wet (tennis shoes, 'river shoes' or flip flops)
Hats, sun screen and towels are strongly advised
Please do not bring valuables and things that cannot get wet
There is a weight limit of 250 pounds per single kayak and 450 pounds per double kayak
For safety reasons, the tour operator does not guarantee going into the caves on tours. Entrance to caves is based on ocean conditions, safety, and participants ability as determined by guide.
Minimum age is 6 years for a double kayak and 16 years for a single kayak
All participants must be able to swim
Social distancing enforced throughout experience
Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
Gear/equipment sanitised between use
Guides required to regularly wash hands

The guides were awesome, it was a wonderful afternoon! Loved seeing the seals, birds and sea caves! Make sure you wear clothes that you are ok with getting wet, you will get wet when you are trying to get back to shore!

This was great fun. Expect to get wet but maybe not soaked. You'll be boarding a kayak on the beach and there will be some waves. You'll paddle about a mile down the beach the cliff's of La Jolla, you'll see seals and sea lions and pelicans. There is one cave that you can enter and the guides will swim along-side you to guide you in. The guides on our trip were Amy and Anya (?) and they were great, they worked hard to keep us safe and annoy us with bad sea lion puns.

Recommended!! My husband and I did the tandem and we had a great time. The instructors were great, fun and informative (Amy and Ana but I may not have her name right). It's the right amount of time out.
