Two tour guides were kayaking at the front instead of one at the front to lead and second person guide at the back to keep an eye out and to help anyone who experience trouble. We were getting sea sick after 20 minutes into the kayaking and was not able to tell the guides of our problem until they stopped half way. By then, we felt worser. Throwing up. We told them that we will be turning back and return back to base. Ayola was rude and unconcerned. When we reached the base, the launch assistants ignored us and we kayaked to the beach and the waves flipped both kayaks and hit on our head when we were under the kayaks. This could have been prevented. They could have approached us to hold the kayaks so that we can get off the kayaks when they saw us. Instead, they came after we got hurt. The staff girl at the return office were not friendly. Rude. When my wife handed her the life jackets, they will not accept them but directed her to take them to the rack with an unfriendly voice. Overall, we had a horrible time and will not recommend this place

Did the tour in April 2022. Staff is pleasant and helpful. It was nice to be in a small group of 4. We kayaked for 90 mins and had a great workout. That was the extent of the tour! The best part was (surf kayaking) riding with the waves to and from shore (departing and returning). We did not see anything or got anywhere close to the caves. We saw everything from a distance which was teeny tiny :) and pointless. I suggest you ask the guide in the beginning of the tour so you know what to expect. The guide told us half way through that we will not enter the cave due to the weather. We were all disappointed. I recommend booking this tour in the summer. If youā€™d like to get some great views of the caves, I highly suggest spending the day at Lajolla Cove.

Our tour guide, Hannah, was great! She was very down to earth and got to know us before taking us out on the ocean. She made us feel safe the whole time. There were a total of 4 of us on the tour which made the experience better. We got to see sea lions in the cave and around on the rocks. It was great! Tips for the trip: If the water is choppy and you are prone to getting sea sick, prepare. We felt more sick sitting still in the kayak then when we were moving. Nowhere near as bad as if you went whale watching though! If youā€™ve never kayaked before, thatā€™s okay! They teach you how and make sure you donā€™t fall too far behind. The location has lockers for rent to hold your stuff while you go. You WILL get wet.
