PLEASE BE IN THE KAYAK SHOP 1 HOUR BEFORE TOUR START TIME, Allow time for parking and gear set up
Expect to get wet, please wear appropriate clothes such as a bathing suit and shoes that can get wet (tennis shoes, 'river shoes' or flip flops)
Hats, sun screen and towels are strongly advised
Please do not bring valuables and things that cannot get wet
There is a weight limit of 250 pounds per single kayak and 450 pounds per double kayak
For safety reasons, the tour operator does not guarantee going into the caves on tours. Entrance to caves is based on ocean conditions, safety, and participants ability as determined by guide.
Minimum age is 6 years for a double kayak and 16 years for a single kayak
All participants must be able to swim
Social distancing enforced throughout experience
Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
Gear/equipment sanitised between use
Guides required to regularly wash hands

Luke was a great tour guide! Overall great experience, our group size was 3 tandems and 2 singles in total. We went into one of the sea caves and got up close and personal with some sea otters. Would rent kayaks from La Jolla Kayak if we make it back to San Diego in the future. They provided us with everything we needed to head out.

I booked the earliest but there was a minimum so was informed and was asked to move to 10 which worked perfectly anyways. The guides and everyone there was very informative and funny. It was well worth the experience as first timers. We got sea sick but still pushed through, since the guides made everything feel safe.

We were a group of 9 that went on the Cave Tour and had so much fun. The guides, Tyler and Anna A were AWESOME! So much fun and very knowledgeable of the area. We saw sea lions up close and they even swam under our kayaks. Would recommend this tour for any level of experience for kayaking.
