Overview

Laguna, along America's Riviera, has a wealth of sun and sand. On a 1 and 1/2 hour walking tour of our village-like downtown we’’ll explain the unique history of California's 'Best Beach Town' - founded and still very much an Artist's Colony. And we’ll be happy to offer Tips on where to best Shop and Eat.
Then off to the craggy, dramatic coastline overlooking quiet beaches and life-filled tide pools.
Note: Tour is for a minimum of 2 people although a single may ask to join another tour.

What To Expect

Laguna Beach

Main Beach

Off the boardwalk there is a Playground, Beach Volleyball, a famous pros’ Basketball Court - it’s all here!

Heisler Park

We’ll see beautiful Hidden Beaches and dramatic overlooks of our incredible natural coastline, as well as great public art along the way. We’ll be happy to show you the best spots for swimming, surfing, sunning; tide pools, picnicking and for building a sandcastle - maybe we’ll even see a Dolphin pod. Included are Tips on where to return for a drink and a fabulous sunset.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He told us a lot about Laguna Beach and showed us interesting buildings. The best part was when we walked along paths near the beach that I wouldn’t have known were there otherwise.

Really enjoyed this tour! Learned a bit about the history of the town; but really appreciated the opportunity to 'discover' the hidden beaches---would likely have never discovered them on our own. Very pretty walkways and ocean views, lots of flora and fauna too! Take this tour early in your stay .

AJ started our tour in the old historical district of Laguna Beach, pointing out the history and stories of older buildings. It provided a very informative insight into the roots of this city. We then went on to the south end of the beach and walked toward Heisler Park, gaining interesting tidbits about what we were seeing. AJ was particularly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area, especially from the 20th Century on. The beaches we saw were from the trail above so perhaps a more fitting title might be “Laguna Beach Village and Local Beaches Tour”. It was a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in this lovely area.
