Lahaina Kayak and Snorkel Excursion

Overview

This west Maui eco adventure starts in the calm waters just south of Lahaina Town. Paddle along calm and shallow waters beneath the towering West Maui Mountains. Snorkel beautiful coral reefs and view tropical reef fish. Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are regular sightings. Occasionally encounter the elusive Monk Seal, Spinner Dolphins, and Eagle Rays. This is an excellent spot for whale watching when in season (Jan-Mar). Tour is located conveniently at our store at 505 Front Street in downtown Lahaina.

Fun trip, but you really need to work hard if you want to enjoy! We paddled out quite a while, had about 40 minutes of snorkeling in the protected barrier reefs. Some saw turtles, small black tip reef sharks, and various fish. After that we went out beyond the break, the water was incredibly blue and clear. Our guide was conscientious of all of our abilities, and kept a sharp eye out for everyone. His experience showed, and was much appreciated.

A bit of a different 5 star review but… I appreciated that this company gave us to the last minute weather-wise, trying to get us out SAFELY, before they called it. The ocean is the ocean. There’s nothing you can do about the conditions. They tried their best and then were very prompt and courteous with a refund when we couldn’t reschedule during our trip. No hassle. Wish we could have made it on an excursion, but really appreciate that our safety took precedence over income. Especially in these uncertain times. Please support this conscientious business.
