Lahaina Kayak and Snorkel Excursion

Overview

This west Maui eco adventure starts in the calm waters just south of Lahaina Town. Paddle along calm and shallow waters beneath the towering West Maui Mountains. Snorkel beautiful coral reefs and view tropical reef fish. Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are regular sightings. Occasionally encounter the elusive Monk Seal, Spinner Dolphins, and Eagle Rays. This is an excellent spot for whale watching when in season (Jan-Mar). Tour is located conveniently at our store at 505 Front Street in downtown Lahaina.

This was an unexpected gem. Instead of getting on a boat and having that do all the work for you, there's something more satisfying about paddling yourself around in the ocean to go snorkeling and generally enjoy the water. We saw a lot of sea turtles and fish. Our guide, Fox, was great! He was knowledgeable about the ecosystem and shared a lot of cool tidbits. He guided us through the calm channels that allowed us to kayak without battling any rough waves. It was great exercise, too! Highly recommend!

We had a great kayak and snorkel morning with our guide Leah. She got us to a beautiful reef with dozens of turtles. She was very informative and professional.
