Overview

Lahaina turtle cleaning station once was a fully-functioning pier that served as a shipping facility for the island’s pineapple and agriculture. In 1992, however, 30 ft. surf came marching into Lahaina as a result of Hurricane Iniki, and the end of the dock was completely destroyed.

Today, the pilings from the old dock lie scattered along the ocean floor, and what was once a shipping facility above water is now a healthy artificial reef.

Seth was an awesome guide and really made us feel comfortable in the water. We saw so many turtles and different fish! He even took a ton of videos and photos that he sent to us as soon as we were done. This was the highlight of our trip and highly recommend for anyone who wants to see some sea life up close and personal!

What an amazing time. Seth was clearly in love with what he does, and really got us all excited with his history lessons and terrible dad jokes. The videos and photos were beautiful and an excellent souvenir. My only concern was the lava rocks we had to walk over to get out to the water. They were a little treacherous but no one was hurt. Would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Maui. An unforgettable experience and the highlight of my vacation. :)

Had an awesome time snorkeling with Seth, he was a great instructor and got the most amazing pictures and videos. He definitely made the trip worth it! I would highly recommend!
