What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

On it's own Lake Tahoe is amazing through the eyes and vision of Keith, Robin & their team it is breathtaking! We spent the day with them today and the memories and images captured are priceless. We adventured to waterfalls, lakes, meadows and all the most beautiful spots around South Lake Tahoe with our 3yo and 1 yo in tow. The places you will go with Tahoe Photographic Tours you would never find one or two with hours of research and organization on your own let alone all you get to see! Then to top off some of the most incredible scenes in nature you could image you just happen to have a world class photographer along with you to capture your family enjoying them! Our trip to Lake Tahoe was terrific, but what made it the best ever was our outing with Tahoe Photographic Tours. We felt very special and had a great time. The picture that were taken of us were beyond our expectations. The sites were gorgeous, had a wonderful time and will do again on our next trip.

What a wonderful experience. Greg picked us up at our hotel, and the adventure began. We would have never found the spots he took us to. Water falls, smaller lakes, dirt roads, mountains, valleys, huge trees. He gladly shared photography tips, and how to make the best of your shots. Lunch at an old general store, info on wildlife, and bear stories. Not only did we take 1000+ pics, when we returned home we received a CD of photos that Greg took that included pics of us with world class scenery in the background.
