What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Imagine one of those extraordinary panoramic scenes that you assume could only have been taken from aloft--and you're in it! Now couple that with someone who's passionate about wildlife and nature. Add to it an expert photographer with a gifted eye and exuberant enthusiasm for sharing with you the beauty of his Lake Tahoe. What you have is Keith Price, the man and his work!! Unbelievably, he was our personal guide for an unforgettable tour of Tahoe just last week! Whether you've been to Tahoe before or not, the best thing you can do in Tahoe for a day is take this tour!! The " frosting on the cake" is that all those expertly taken images of you on your tour are handed to you on a dvd!

We had a great trip. Although we had driven around the lake a couple of times, Gary was able to take us to spots that we had not seen and get some great shots. We really enjoyed the time and would suggest it to anyone that wants to see more of the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe.

My father and I just got back from Tahoe. We did this tour and all I can say is WOW. I read all the reviews before we went, so I was expecting alot. I wasn't dissapointed. Our tour guide, Greg, was great. He took us to about 6 or 7 different places we wouldn't have found on our own. I took some of the best pictures I have ever taken in my life. The service is great. The tour isn't cheap, but it is worth every penny. You learn alot about the area and get some amazing pictures. And to top it off, the tour guide takes pictures for you along the way, which is awesome. Would definitley suggest this for anyone visiting Tahoe!!!!
