What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

This is a great tour to take and you get wonderful pictures made by professionals. We had a grea time and saw more of the lake and land than we would have on our own plus heard numerous stories of life around the area.

I have to agree with the other reviews, this is simply a must do if you are in Tahoe or near the area. My family happened to be in Reno for a volleyball tournament and decided to try the tour based on the reviews. First off, we made a wrong turn and were late getting to our pickup spot, Craig and Robyn both worked it out for us to meet at an alternative location. We are very happy that they did because the tour was absolutely better than we had imagined. Craig is an energized personal guide with a wealth of knowledge regarding the area. We can't wait to receive the CD with the photos that he took for us, I know they are going to be amazing. Robert from Kansas City

Our trip to Tahoe wouldn't have been complete without taking millions of photographs, but Tahoe Photographic Tours took us to places we wouldn't of been able to find on our own. Our guide Matthew was friendly, informative and very knowledgeable of the Tahoe area. I love to take pictures of scenery when on vacation, but when we get home no one would know we were actually in those places, because generally there's no pictures of us, so it was great to have someone else snapping pictures of us, and I could carry on taking pictures of the scenery with my camera as I saw fit.
