What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Oh my goodness this is was of the best tours I have ever done when going to a place I have never been before. This is a must if it is your first time in lake Tahoe. It seemed like Keith took us everywhere around the lake. I think we took over 1000 photos. We were using our cell phones and small pocket Nikon while he was using his professional camera. We followed him in our rented car and he just tailored it to accommodate our needs and desires and then some. While looking at Keith Price's website I was astonished at how much of a professional he is. Check out his wildlife photos. He is National Geographic photography! I asked him why he did this and he said he loved meeting people and wanted to have visitors have wonderful memories of their stay in Lake Tahoe. I feel like I have a new friend. His fee should be 10 x what he charges!!!!! We would have never gone out on our own to see these many places around the lake! We drove about 55 minutes to South Lake Tahoe to meet up with Keith because we stayed in the very scenic Hyatt Incline in North Lake Tahoe. This was the best thing we did in Lake Tahoe. It was the first day the sky was clear after the smoke lifted. We were blessed!!!!! (most of the best images were to high a pixel to post in this review)

Keith, the owner has been in Tahoe for 40 years and knows all the good spots. This tour was great because you get a professional photographer to give you a tour and as a bonus, you get some great shots of you in Tahoe, taken by a professional! This is especially great if traveling alone so not all of your pics are selfies! And for the price, wow! Would absolutely recommend this as a must do.

Keith was very personable and took us to a lot of beautiful spots that we wouldn't have otherwise known about. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. During the time that we were in Tahoe the smoke from wildfires limited some scenery, but he did a great job of finding areas that still had good visibility. He even snapped some great shots of my now fiance proposing to me! The photos he shared with us were great quality! I would definitely recommend taking his tour.
