What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

My wife and I went on the photography tour while in Tahoe on our honeymoon. Keith himself took us out and the tour will forever be one of our fondest memories of the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Keith and his wife are both wonderful people and consummate profesionals. We were picked up for the tour promptly on time and transported around the lake to numerous locations where the views are unlike anywhere else in the world. Keith taught us various techniques to capture great photos as well as taking pictures along with us. He also sent the electronic copies of all the photos to us in a very timely manner. Though we had only met him for a short time, we left feeling like we had made a life long friend in Keith. I have been on other tours that I thought were good. The Tahoe Photographic Tour by Keith Price exceeded all of my expectations and was beyond good. I found myself saying "amazing" many times out loud and to myself. In addition to the spectacular and breathtaking scenery, I appreciated the time, tales, and tips (heh - 3 T's) that Keith provided. He was so gracious to send the photos that he took. In comparison to mine, I realize that I have a lot to learn about photography! But you know what is the best part?....I will have a forever friend that can help me in the learning process. If you want a memorable lifetime AMAZING experience, book this tour!
