Our group of 4 had a great time kayaking on Yellowstone Lake. Our guide, Joe Beaver, was a wealth of knowledge about the history and features of the lake and surrounding area - he really made the trip fun. We saw an elk, bald eagle and thermal areas that feed into the lake. I highly recommned this trip!

We had a perfect morning for kayaking. Aiden our guide was super knowledgeable of the area and had interesting stories to tell throughout the trip. The kayaks were easy to paddle. We saw the water view of west thumb geyser basin which was amazing. We saw a pair of bald eagles having a lovers squabble. We were provided with snacks and water on our beach break. Overall perfect experience and a must do when coming to yellowstone!

This experience was even better than we expected! Talk about small group size--our family of five went out with our own guide! Aiden was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and great with our three kids. We don't have much paddling experience, but we felt very, very safe with him, and he let us set the pace. He even recommended a nearby hike that helped us round out our day perfectly! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We only spent one day near the lake, and we felt like this was the very best way to see it. The tour also affords views of some of the geothermal features at West Thumb that aren't visible if you tour it on foot. Overall, this was the perfect family adventure.
