Overview

Our small group snorkeling tours are locally owned and operated, making you feel like a part of our Maui ohana! Since 1982 we have offered snorkeling trips on our quick and safe rafting vessels to the island of Lanai where we find secret coves, sea cliffs, tropical reef, marine life and dolphins! This trip includes whale watching during whale migration months (December-April). Every ticket supports active marine research and our efforts as part of the whale entanglement response team here on Maui!

We had an amazing time with Brittany and Hannah on our snorkel adventure, it truly was an adventure. I originally booked our excursion about 1 month in advance. About 2 days before our excursion we got a call from the company stating our reservation had to be cancelled and we were offered a refund or re-booking for another day. We chose to go another day since we were flexible and we were refunded 10% due to the last minute change which was appreciated! The day of the trip, we checked in and were given the run down of events by Brittany and fit with snorkels and flippers by Hannah. Brittany actually prefaced the group that the trip may be different than expected due to the high winds. I would like to say we got way more out of the trip than anticipated! It started with humpback whale watching, Brittany and Hannah got notification that there was a small group of males in the area. The whole group really enjoyed the whales, and one of them even swam under our charter boat! Next we went to two snorkeling spots, the second spot was my favorite as we got too see many schools of fish and sea turtles! We were able to wash off with fresh water on the back of the boat after snorkeling which was nice. As we were headed back to Lahaina, we got to watch a huge school of spinner dolphins. We did all of this while enjoying the yummy banana bread, lilikoi spread, chips, and drinks on board. I chose this trip based on all the positive reviews and would highly recommend it!!

We’ve done several of these over the years, including our last trip to Maui. This one, with the smaller boat and flexibility that came with it, resulted in us seeing 2 whales (swam right under the boat) and a pod of spinner dolphins within 20 feet of the boat (including 3 babies) and snorkeling with a multitude of turtles (swam with 10 of them at a time at one point). Brittany and Clint were unbelievable guides - very knowledgeable and accommodating - and were responsible for us seeing the whales and dolphins. Fantastic! This trip blew all the previous outings away - strongly, strongly recommend this small family-owned tour!
