Overview

Our small group snorkeling tours are locally owned and operated, making you feel like a part of our Maui ohana! Since 1982 we have offered snorkeling trips on our quick and safe rafting vessels to the island of Lanai where we find secret coves, sea cliffs, tropical reef, marine life and dolphins! This trip includes whale watching during whale migration months (December-April). Every ticket supports active marine research and our efforts as part of the whale entanglement response team here on Maui!

We really liked that this was a smaller group. Captain Pete and Vinny were so helpful and were really interested that we had a great experience. My husband and I were first time snorkelers and they really made us feel at ease about getting out there. It was also really nice that water/sodas were provided and the banana bread, fruit, etc was a special treat.

My family (wife & 17yo son) took the 4 hour Lanai Dolphin watch & snorkel trip. We selected this trip early in our vacation as a way to wind up our time on Maui. We are not disappointed at all. This trip is more intimate in that you are not part of a large crowd, you are part of a smaller group and have real interaction with the crew. Both spots we visited were beautiful and we are alone! The snorkeling was great. The dolphins were a hit too. They were very entertaining and amazing to watch. The real treat was seeing the baby dolphins, so cute. We also enjoyed banana bread with the amazing spread it is served with, the name escapes me now. There was also pineapple and strawberries to nosh on at each stop. A nice treat for sure. There were soft drinks and water too. The weather was perfect, so we ran pretty fast in and out of the harbor. This allowed us maximum time out. I recommend this trip to all. This beats any other snorkeling trip offered on Maui, hands down.

My wife and I took this tour on June 17 and we both love it a lot! This is our second snorkeling and it’s very different from the first one in Molokini. The boat is a small boat so it can run much faster than a bigger one. Also it can stay really close to the fishes. On this tour, we saw 50+ dolphins swimming and jumping around in the ocean. We were only 10 feet away from them. Then we did a snorkeling in Molokai. The water was crystal clear and we saw a variety of fishes down there. This spot was less crowded than Molokini and we appreciate it a lot. Then we moved to the second spot of the day near the harbor to see some sea turtles. The water was not as clear as the first spot and sometimes it can be chilly due to the fresh water coming from the mountain to the ocean. (Thank Vinny for his knowledge!) but we still have a wonderful time as those sea turtles are so adorable. We were only 3 feet away from one of them. Amy is a very nice and knowledge captain and her crew Vinny is very warm and helpful. We are very glad to choose this company for this tour and it’s definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Maui. We also felt so touched when Amy stopped the boat and grabbed a plastic bag from the sea on our way back. She said that’s to save some turtles. We really appreciate her thoughtful move and her guidance across the entire tour. I give this company and this tour package 5 stars and will recommend any of my friends to join this tour! I have several videos of dolphins but unfortunately I can’t upload them in the app. Btw, it’s really difficult to leave a review on trip advisor. The user interface and the flow are just not the best but I still managed to leave this one cuz I just love this tour too much!
