During our old city history walk, we will whet our whistle at some of Lancaster’s finest craft beer establishments – and the history isn’t over. You will learn how much of our colorful past is tied to beer. From the Revolutionary War to 19th century Lager Breweries to amazing tales of prohibition ingenuity, the beer flowing through the taps comes from the present day but reaches back across the last two centuries - and it's delicious!

I had so much fun on this tour. Mike was very knowledgeable about the history of Lancaster and where to find excellent craft beer. We went to two breweries and I enjoyed both of them. I would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was easily the highlight of our weekend in Lancaster. Mike led our tour, but it felt more like hanging out with an old friend that happens to know a ton about the city. We learned so much in such a short time. I had no idea what to expect from Lancaster, but the history was fascinating. Mike offered details and stories that offer so much context to how Lancaster was built up and operates. After a couple hours out on a hot summer day the beers at the end of the tour were the perfect ending. I never thought Lancaster would be a location we'd make a point of visiting again, but we can't wait to go back for another tour with Lokalexperiences.com Next time I'm really hoping to book one of their Amish Experience Dinner parties. Way more authentic than anything else you will find with travel sites. If you want to truly experience Lancaster or the Amish culture get in touch with Mike. You will have an unforgettable time.

Mike was the best. He promptly found my wife and I at the meeting area. We then proceeded in a historical tour of the great city of Lancaster. Mike was extremely knowledgeable explaining the architecture and history of all the buildings and stories of Lancaster. We also visited three breweries and drank delicious beers. I highly recommend this tour with Mike. A personal tour of the up and coming city of Lancaster and a wonderful time with Mike, who will be your friend at the end of the tour. Mike, also gave us awesome tips on where to dine too.
