Las Vegas Horseback Riding in Mountain

Overview
Escape the HEAT!!

During the Summer months Enjoy the Mountains on Horseback in Cool Weather!! In the Summer Months this is the best ride in Vegas! When it’s 115 degrees out at all the “other trail sites” we are a high of only 75 degrees. The riding trails at our Riding Stables provide you with views of deep forest to panoramic mountain overlooks including peaks. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you on a beautiful adventure over trails of western beauty where you may see deer, wild horses and donkeys.
With a wide variety of horses, we can match everyone from the beginner ( never been on a horse) to the experienced rider to a suitable horse that fits you best. Adults and children alike enjoy the various animals that call the stables home. We do not ride near cliffs or any dangerous trails.

During the winter (Nov 1-April 15) this tour is relocated to the Lake Mead location. The tour has red rock formations, desert atmosphere with green bushes. See a real inactive Volcano!

This was exactly as expected, a quiet ride across some desert/rocky terrain, on safe and well-trained horses. The horses are trailered to a public access point and you meet the guide there. I recommend using the offered transportation service to avoid getting lost with an Uber (it’s literally a gravel parking area off the road). Guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Reminder to anyone who has never ridden before; when you go on a trail ride as a tourist you will not be galloping anywhere. Although people who ride all the time make it look easy, it’s just not safe practice. So go out and enjoy the easy pace of a well-mannered trail horse with this group!

Before the ride even happened, Silver State was VERY unorganized. I had to remind them the date and time multiple times through text. They never got the time right. Once the day came, it was raining ALL DAY in Las Vegas on Thursday, February 13th 2025. If you don't believe me look it up the weather report. I wanted to speak at someone about the weather to reassure me that we could rescheduled or continue the ride at an earlier time which NEVER happened. They blocked my calls and told trip advisor a different story. They refused to speak on the phone to reschedule. They still will not refund me $430, neither will trip advisor, which is honestly disheartening because I have proof of the conversation and the claim the weather wasn't bad to ride in, which I call BS. I want a full refund from trip advisor and Silver State. Don't trust them, they will just take your money and not actually speak to you on the phone, only through texts. Seems like a HUGE scam since no one answers the phone. It rained terribly all day in Vegas and the weather was visibly bad. I would have rescheduled if they would have talked to me on the phone. DO NOT BOOK!!!

We went for the activity, but there was no one, no horse. The person wanted us to go on foot further into the desert, it was very horror movie. We waited in our Lyft until the departure time to try to join the person for the activity and still nothing. We left the place. Our Lyft told us that it would be unsafe to leave us there that it seemed a strange way to do things. The person texted us very angry and did not want to reimburse us. 250% for the activity and $ 120 for transportation, ultimately we wasted time and money.

This is 100 percent not correct. You did not show up at all for the tour. We kept telling you to drive not walk to the correct spot and you never showed up. All of the other clients showed up for the tour so we are not sure why you didn’t attend. You never advised us that you did not show until we asked you where your group was 15 minutes after your scheduled tour time.
