Has learning to surf been your dream? It’s a good one to have, and the calm waters of La Jolla Shores is the best spot to learn! Our experienced instructors are eager to share their passion for surfing with beginners and intermediates alike - no experience necessary, all equipment provided.

Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water. You’ll have fun learning how to surf in a safe environment!

What's Included

All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.

I had an amazing surf lesson with Chris! He’s an incredible instructor, super knowledgeable, funny, and made the entire experience feel personal and enjoyable. His tips were spot on, and thanks to his guidance, I was already standing on the board on my first day! He truly deserves recognition for how well he teaches. Highly recommend!

Jono Halstead was my instructor and he was phenomenal. Extremely encouraging and supportive. Broke everything down step by step which was helpful. His guidance and positive attitude kept me on track. I felt safe the entire time. Highly recommend Everyday California. If you have a dream to learn to surf visit this place and ask for Jono. You will not regret it.

This was my first time learning to surf. I went from 0 experience to actually standing up and catching waves - all within my appointment time! Griffin was great! If you’re doubting doing it, I’d say definitely go!
