Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum numbers apply. There must be 2 participants for each activity. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

Surfing is a naturally socially distant sport and we have had no Covid cases associated with any of our instructors or clients since the onset. We have helped hundreds of clients learn to surf in that time and are very careful to keep appropriate space along with equipment sanitized.

We had a private surf lesson with Zach in Santa Barbara, during our Cali roadtrip. Santa Barbara was such a beautiful location for it, the ocean was perfect, and not too crazy for beginners. Zach was an awesome teacher, not wasting too much time on the beach with practicing basics, but really focussing on time in the water, and catching as many waves as possible. He stayed with us in the water the whole time, giving great tips, and really cheering us on in our successes and giving feedback on our 'wipeouts'. Over all, it was really chill, with no worries about being beginners, and we ended the lesson having caught some good waves, and able to stand up, which was super fun. I would highly recommend the school as a place to learn, and especially Zach.

Great day with Zach and Thomas. Took good care of our group of 9 people (youths and adults). They got us all up on the boards riding waves. Highly recommended!
