A park that will definately appeal to under 12's and parents that enjoy Lego (even if you do stand on it at home in the night with no lights on....) Bought as part of a three day pass with Go San Diego. Quite a drive from cental San Diego, unlike Seaworld and San Diego Zoo. I've given it a 3 star (and I want to give it less) because the park charges for parking. This is unacceptable in todays car society. I get it if it was a city centre site with office workers using the car park but it isnt. So all LegoLand is actually doing is inflating the ticket price but not up front. It's only when you turn up that you realise there is a parking charge. It's not like the majority of people are coming on a coach or public transport. So unfortunately, this just comes across as a way of fleecing Joe public. Shame on you Legoland.... If you just have the one day in San Diago, take your kid/s to the Zoo, much better value and fun education.

My eight-year-old grandson and I had a good visit. In fact, this was the reason we came to San Antonio. He absolutely loved the fire/police play area - he visited it four times. My favorite was the 4D movies. We also rode the Merlin ride more times than I can count. (It is really hard to pedal in sandals!) He visited the display of San Antonio several times, especially when it was night. His favorites were the jackhammer, football game, and ghost in the building. I also agree with another reviewer that the laser ride could have been longer. The staff was very helpful. It was so rewarding to see parents and children building racing cars together. He loved racing the cars. There were also specific activities for younger children and for girls. We arrived when it opened and stayed for three hours. Towards the end, it got rather crowded. Perhaps they could consider enlarging the facility at some point.

We took our granddaughters and their adult uncle and we had a great time. The display of downtown San Antonio was amazing. So much to look at we could have spent hours just looking at the display. The laser ride was the favorite but it could have been longer. There were many building stations which allowed everyone to build something. We built two cars and raced them. My only complaint was it was a little pricey which means we won't go as often as we would like.
