Rita, our tour guide, led our small group around Lewiston explaining it's varied history including The Underground Railroad stops. We visited seven restaurant, bakery and coffee spots with wine and beer tasting included. All of the food and drink was delicious with generous size "samples." There are also delicious, homemade vegetarian options. We loved the walking tour through the hilly town overlooking the Niagara River. A "must do" if you're in the Niagara Falls area!

Our daughter gave us this tour as a gift, Who would have thought that we would have had such an amazing time. We are residents of Western New York for 60 years and never realized the history, the beauty and the GREAT FOOD Lewiston had to offer. Thanks to Roaming Table, we have a new appreciation for this part of our state. The tour guide was the best, at each stop we were treated as special guests with great food & drinks while learning about the impact this little cozy town had with the growth of our country. I learned so much and ate too much, what a great day! I recommend this to everyone!!! Mike & Kathy

I’ve been coming to Lewiston for over 40 years and learned more in the 3 hours with Chris and Alicia than I ever had in the past about the area. First, Lewiston is a beautiful village located on the Niagara escarpment, settled in the 1700s. It was also a major spot to free slaves to Canada on the Underground Railroad. Next, it has an amazing array of restaurants within about a 1 mile stretch. The tour brought us to 6 great restaurants with tasting sized portions - come hungry because the portions are very generous and you will be full. It is paced nicely so you aren’t too full too fast though. Chris and Alicia are great guides, and their love of Lewiston, it’s food and rich history really shine through. Don’t be turned off by the price. It’s well worth it!
