What To Expect

The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

This was our 1st food tour. An anniversary gift from our children. Our most knowledgeable hosts, Alicia & Chris made it so interesting with all the local history. The food tastings were also incorporated into the historical aspect. There was such a variety of tastes. All excellent. Kudos to the Tepas -it was amazing!

A great way to spend a Friday with Family and Friends! The food was great and the tour was interesting. We all had a great time! We want to make this a tradition with our Family Reunion weekend! Highly recommend this tour!

Alicia, a most wonderful person, and our tour guide this afternoon for this wonderful three hour food and history tour, truly gave her all to all of the tour participants this afternoon! You will sample food samples from some of the finest restaurants in Lewiston, learn many wonderful facts about this historic village, and meet some wonderful people, all in one three hour afternoon! Alicia was a Lewiston resident, and with her husband Chris, started this outstanding endeavor last year. It is a tremendously educational and entertaining experience, and promise you that you will not leave hungry! Most importantly, all of the people in the restaurants were wonderful and welcomed us with open arms! Enjoy one of the ten best small towns in America and USA Today's 2014 ten best small towns for food with this outstanding food and history tour!
