What To Expect

The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

Excellent tour. Historic facts and excellent food! I loved learning about the Chefs in addition to Lewiston's history.Wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The food included a delightful pairing of beer and wine in 3 of 6 places. Dessert as a perfect finish I am a Buffalo Native and plan to bring all our out of town family members to this tour. Bravo!

The combination of excellent guides telling the fascinating history of the area, delicious food tastings from unique local restaurants and a walk through a beautiful historical town made for a wonderful afternoon and time and money well spent. Would highly recommend this to tourists as well as locals. We found some new restaurants to return to along the way. Cant wait to go back!

This is a great way to spend the afternoon. We learn some very interesting history of Lewiston and sampled food from 6 different restaurants. The food was great and some of the places had free range meat. They were accommodating to people who were gluten or dairy intolerant. Chris and Alicia were very informative and very well organized, they would call ahead to the restaurant so they would be ready for us when we arrived. We will definitely go back to Lewiston for dinner at the restaurants we sampled food at today. I would highly recommend this, for a great day in a great town.
