We actually liked the cruise. First, there is a disconnect between the sales guy in the kiosk and the actual cruise. He told us there isn’t a commentator...just info on the lighthouses...not true.. we had some good commentary. The low rating comes from three issues. First, the boat arrived 15 minutes late. Second...none of the cruise companies we have seen have just an adult rate...all the others have a SENIOR reduction. Also, none charged more than $28 for 90 mins. during PEAK season. We were there Nov. 7 and the rate was $35. The other boats, I believe, were smaller than the 100+ people this boat held at full capacity. The boat booked 50% capacity. Just didn’t like being charged higher than normal rates in NOVEMBER...with no senior discount and misinformation given by man in kiosk. We went because we were desperate to get out on the water with temps in the mid 60’s. We knew no one else was still operating.

We apologize for the late arrival, sometimes mechanical issues or harbor traffic can cause unforeseen delays. The crew is very serious about keeping to the schedule and they really do their best to stick with it. Also, we love the idea of senior discounts—with a newly built ship launching in the midst of a pandemic, discounting tickets the first year in business may be a goal, but is just not an option at this time—especially with the boat running at half-capacity to keep folks safe. Thank you, too, for the alert that the kiosk operator was unaware of the narrated feature of the cruise, that is a training issue we can certainly fix. We appreciate you still giving us three green dots and are glad you enjoyed the cruise overall.
