After months of closure due to the storm, it has been lovingly restored and ready to be enjoyed. My family and I had taken the self guided tour about six years ago and then again yesterday and I'm happy to say it's still amazingly beautiful and a peaceful way to see how Kauai looked centuries ago. Even the drive here to the end of the road is beautiful.
