We made a last-minute decision to do this tour and we are really glad we did! Jacquie was such a warm, welcoming host. She knew the ins and outs of the neighborhood and was able to impart her knowledge about the culture, commerce and of course food, which was delicious. We left with full stomachs and big smiles and I'd recommend this tour without hesitation!

For a special birthday, very dear friends took me on a behind the scenes tour o the Italian Market. I have been wanting to do a tour for a very long time, so the gift of a food tour with some of my most favorite friends was a dream come true. We ate, we laughed, we ate some more! Jacquie knows her stuff. She gave great historical information about the Italian Market and sprinkled in lots of humor. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to be in the know about South Philadelphia's food, history and culture.

Where to begin would be hard. The day from minute one until the last was amazing. We were celebrating a birthday, and Chef Jacquie made the birthday girl feel special throughout the day. The stories and insight she gave us about the area and the market were priceless. I felt like I grew up here. She knows everyone and everything.Each stop was enlightening. We shopped all day at our visitis. DiBruno's,Cardenas Tap room, Fantes, lunch at Villa di Roma, Anthonys Coffee House, and Isgro's pastry. If your looking for a fun experiences book this tour. Chef Jacquie is fabulous !
