Skye was an amazing tour guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great storyteller. She led us around town a little pointing out sights and sharing their stories and significance. She was savvy at getting us into and out of places to avoid lines and too much waiting. After our tour ended, she answered our questions about other sights and went above and beyond to get us to where we were going next. I would highly recommend this tour! This is the third tour we’ve taken with the Unscripted Company, and we were pleased with every one.

Fantastic tour! My kids and I came on a tour to learn about Lincoln’s association.m during our spring break trip. The group size is very small, and it was easy to hear the guide as well as see the sites. Our guide Jim is highly knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. Highly recommend this company and Jim!

The tour guide had a magnificent voice. Even so, it was sometimes impossible to hear over the traffic noise or passing pedestrian's conversations. If I were to take the tour again, I would know to stay in front of the tour guide and not politely heading up the back of the group. The guide should really be in the middle of the tourist group to be heard, even in the indoor museum areas. If you are immediately in front of, beside, or in back of the guide, hearing the stories will be easy. If you are at the back of the group of tourists, or too far to one side, you will miss the explanation. On our tour at least, there was no special access to anything, unlike the promise in the description of the tour. I hve to reiterate, given the price of the tour, that the passing traffic noise (large trucks, for example) is truly loud. Just having people who aren't part of the tour talking among themselves next to the group will cancel out what the guide is saying. If you are booking for yourself and have any hearing trouble at all, don't take this tour. I don't have any hearing trouble and simply could not catch everything because of ambient sound. Even with the missed sections of talk, the experience was worthwhile because the guide allows for an easy flow from one building to another.
