What To Expect
1
Tower Theater
This is where the tour meets and we start with a brief introduction of what you will be experiencing during the tour. We will introduce the group to the magnificent Tower Theater. This is a very special place and we are the only tour in the area that has the privilege and permission to start the tour at his location.
2
Ball & Chain
Dating back to 1935, Ball and Chain used to be a famous jazz club that hosted Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Today with different owners, it is as famous as it was before. *Until restrictions are lifted due to Coronavirus, we will not be able to serve alcohol and therefore we lowered our ticket price.
3
Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center
Be debriefed on the various art pieces such as the Damas De Blanco and other artists as we explore together some of the paintings, murals and breathtaking works of art specifically on the facade and across to this location.
4
Havana Classic Cigar
Learn about the art of cigar rolling at our favorite cigar factory. Watch live how master rollers craft a cubano right before your eyes. We will cover how cigars are made and why it is such an important aspect of the Cuban culture
5
Domino Park
Dominos is Cuba's national game and we will celebrate it by visiting the viejitos playing dominos at all hours of the day. This is a famous landmark in Little Havana that will give you the experience to dive deep in the local culture while learning about its historical importance to the neighborhood.
6
Little Havana
This tour takes place in the Miami neighborhood of Cuban exiles called Little Havana, the cultural epicenter of Miami.
7
Tower Theater
This is the first movie theater in the United States featuring American iconic movies with Spanish subtitles. We will learn about the importance this landmark has in the neighborhood as well as when it was built and transformed into an art deco building.
8
Bay of Pigs Monument
This monument celebrates the fallen of the bay of pigs invasion in Little Havana, Miami, Florida. We will visit this beautiful section in the neighborhood that reminds us of those who struggle in the fight for freedom.

This is really a tasting bite walk along Little Havana's main street. As such, it's pleasant. You eat maybe $20-25 of retail price food (you will be full) and pay $70; maybe slightly askew. Our guide did have point of place knowledge, but it's a decent size group and if you want to engage you need to manuver close where the conversation is and hope your or someone else is asking interesting questions. To be fair, it's billed as a food and not a history tour, and delivers on that point. A decent basic introduction and it really deserves a 'good' mark vs. agerage, but trip advisor offers only a 'very good' selection which I can't give.

Dear Scott It is clear from your first sentence that you did not take our tour as we serve a lot of food that equals to a full lunch. In addition, when you say "A decent basic introduction" it doesn't sound that you took the tour with any of our tour guides. Please reachĀ out to me with your booking number so we can double check if you booked with us. You can reach me, Mary, at office @ miamiculinarytours.com Thank you Scott.
