What To Expect

Tower Theater

This is where the tour meets and we start with a brief introduction of what you will be experiencing during the tour. We will introduce the group to the magnificent Tower Theater. This is a very special place and we are the only tour in the area that has the privilege and permission to start the tour at his location.

Ball & Chain

Dating back to 1935, Ball and Chain used to be a famous jazz club that hosted Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Today with different owners, it is as famous as it was before. *Until restrictions are lifted due to Coronavirus, we will not be able to serve alcohol and therefore we lowered our ticket price.

Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center

Be debriefed on the various art pieces such as the Damas De Blanco and other artists as we explore together some of the paintings, murals and breathtaking works of art specifically on the facade and across to this location.

Havana Classic Cigar

Learn about the art of cigar rolling at our favorite cigar factory. Watch live how master rollers craft a cubano right before your eyes. We will cover how cigars are made and why it is such an important aspect of the Cuban culture

Domino Park

Dominos is Cuba's national game and we will celebrate it by visiting the viejitos playing dominos at all hours of the day. This is a famous landmark in Little Havana that will give you the experience to dive deep in the local culture while learning about its historical importance to the neighborhood.

This tour takes place in the Miami neighborhood of Cuban exiles called Little Havana, the cultural epicenter of Miami.

Tower Theater

This is the first movie theater in the United States featuring American iconic movies with Spanish subtitles. We will learn about the importance this landmark has in the neighborhood as well as when it was built and transformed into an art deco building.

Bay of Pigs Monument

This monument celebrates the fallen of the bay of pigs invasion in Little Havana, Miami, Florida. We will visit this beautiful section in the neighborhood that reminds us of those who struggle in the fight for freedom.

Andi is THE BEST tour guide. She checked with us individually hours before the tour, to make sure she knew of our food allergies and alcohol tolerances. I am hearing-impaired, and Andi happily wore a microphone I gave her, in addition to the microphone she uses for everyone on the tour. She checked frequently to make sure I could hear everything she was saying. Andi also did an impressive job getting us engaged as a group. We had many hilarious conversations (introducing ourselves, Q&A with storeowners), and we also shared a thrilling moment when a lady in our group caught a wild iguana in the coffee shop. The 2.5 hours really flew by. We stopped at so many places I lost count, but I was not tired at all. We walked maybe 4 blocks at most, and there were plenty of restrooms and water offered at every stop. I also loved the historic information Andi shared about murals, historic figures, storeowner families, locals, and more. I wish we had done this tour earlier on our trip (we did it on the last day), and I wish there were longer tours offered in Little Havana!

This is an experience I've wanted for a quite some time. Lana was our guide and she was WONDERFUL! She was knowledgeable on the history of the Cuban culture. She was engaging and seemed very passionate about what she was doing. The food was amazing, the mojito the best, and the ice cream! I found the the murals and the cigar rolling particularly interesting. Lana gave us a quick salsa tutorial and I was happy to give it a whirl right in front of the famous Ball and Chain! Thank you Lana for a great day!!
