What To Expect

Tower Theater

This is where the tour meets and we start with a brief introduction of what you will be experiencing during the tour. We will introduce the group to the magnificent Tower Theater. This is a very special place and we are the only tour in the area that has the privilege and permission to start the tour at his location.

Ball & Chain

Dating back to 1935, Ball and Chain used to be a famous jazz club that hosted Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Today with different owners, it is as famous as it was before. *Until restrictions are lifted due to Coronavirus, we will not be able to serve alcohol and therefore we lowered our ticket price.

Cubaocho Museum and Performing Arts Center

Be debriefed on the various art pieces such as the Damas De Blanco and other artists as we explore together some of the paintings, murals and breathtaking works of art specifically on the facade and across to this location.

Havana Classic Cigar

Learn about the art of cigar rolling at our favorite cigar factory. Watch live how master rollers craft a cubano right before your eyes. We will cover how cigars are made and why it is such an important aspect of the Cuban culture

Domino Park

Dominos is Cuba's national game and we will celebrate it by visiting the viejitos playing dominos at all hours of the day. This is a famous landmark in Little Havana that will give you the experience to dive deep in the local culture while learning about its historical importance to the neighborhood.

This tour takes place in the Miami neighborhood of Cuban exiles called Little Havana, the cultural epicenter of Miami.

Tower Theater

This is the first movie theater in the United States featuring American iconic movies with Spanish subtitles. We will learn about the importance this landmark has in the neighborhood as well as when it was built and transformed into an art deco building.

Bay of Pigs Monument

This monument celebrates the fallen of the bay of pigs invasion in Little Havana, Miami, Florida. We will visit this beautiful section in the neighborhood that reminds us of those who struggle in the fight for freedom.

Ria welcomed us outside the Tower Theater in the center of Calle Ocho. She is a true citizen of the world, and has been to and lived in so many places, and still Little Havana in Miami has her heart. She shared so much with us: a delicious lunch of cuban sandwiches with an authentic mojito, then a walk to the oldest walk-up deli on Eighth Street for empanadas and Cuban Coffee. We also had fresh pressed sugar cane juice, a real treat. Many more treats, ending with Cuban ice cream, the best I have ever tasted. Laced into the day of food and drink, she also shared with us the history of the area and the customs. This was truly like taking a vacation for a few hours in an exotic location. We would do it again! Our family were celebrating a couple of birthdays, and this was the best way we could ever have done it!

This tour was amazing!! Our tour guide Andrea was so energetic and excited about the food and history of the Little Havana area. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had a Cuban sandwich & mojito at the first stop, then we had an empanada and Cuban coffee at another restaurant. We also stopped at a cigar factory where we observed women rolling cigars which was very interesting. Then we stopped at an ice cream store and had ice cream with guava in it which was delicious! The last food stop was for some churros which were also delicious. We saw various murals in Little Havana and also stopped by Domino Park. After the tour, we explored the area on our own and went to a bar that Andrea recommended to have a mojito. Andrea made this tour so enjoyable and I highly recommend it to anyone!!

Our tour guide Andy was absolutely amazing! She was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyed showing us around Little Havana. Every stop was unique and provided a glimpse into the culture and history of the area. I particularly enjoyed the Cuban coffee, Cuban sandwich, Mojito, and watching talented people roll cigars.
