What To Expect

Beehive House

One of many attractions on this food walking tour is the home of Brigham Young at our starting point. We meet and begin by talking about the history of SLC and Utah. We visit, sit down and taste food at 4 downtown restaurants. In between restaurant stops, we continue talking about the culture and history.

Joseph Smith Memorial Building

This attraction is included with many others on this food walking tour. We'll tell you about the folks that started and settled in SLC UT, as well as the Mormon culture as well. You'll get a chance to learn about the early pioneers that were instrumental in the silver rush, railroads and industry here in Utah. We'll tell you how SLC UT will become the number one location in the Tech Industry in the next few years. You'll also learn about the many different important inventions right here in our state of Utah.

Salt Lake City

Guest will experience the many historical and cultural experiences and sites on this downtown food walking tour. The last few years has seen an awesome expansion of many different cultures of food and dining experiences. We will give you insight on what other attractions to experience while visiting...the great outdoor experiences, fishing, hiking, snow skiing and the many mountain experiences.

Our guide was friendly and informative. Walk was very easy for our 11yr old. The food was delicious and filling. Only 4 locations, but that's because it was plenty of food. Would definitely recommend.

The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we walked by. Admission to the Beehive House was not done as stated in the description. We have done many food tours in the past and are used to stopping at usually five places for small bites. This tour only stops at three places, but you will be very full afterwards! One stop includes a menu tasting and desert, so that should also be noted. Each stop is pleased to share their drink menus for you to purchase from independently. I have two things that bothered me. The meeting location is nowhere near any of the stops. Be prepared for very long walks. Also, the guide left the tour before his customers were done eating at the last stop. We’ve never had that happen before. Guides don’t always walk you back to the starting point, but to leave before we was unusual. Overall, a good tour, though.
