Overview

Join our special Springtime tour of the magnificent Longwood Gardens!

Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Philadelphia lies this dazzling display of flowers, plants and trees. Leave the driving to your guide as they escort you in our spacious and comfortable van down into the Brandywine Valley.

On the ride down, your guide will discuss the history of the area, and how this section of Southeast Pennsylvania saw the birth of the Dupont family legacy. It was a DuPont descendent who would create today's Longwood Gardens.

We will arrange for your entry into the gardens, and once inside, you’ll be able to stroll around the site at your pace. You won’t believe your eyes as you explore the meticulously manicured grounds, or when you enter Longwood’s breathtaking conservatories. The fountains will leave you awestruck as the water dances to music.

After a couple of hours in the gardens, your guide will then escort you back to Philadelphia, capping off a fantastic day!

This was a fantastic experience. Longwood was sold out, but we were able to get tickets. Our driver Adam was so great. There was a lot of traffic, but Adam kept his cool. When we arrived, he dropped us off with the entrance card and parked the car, so we did not have to walk a long distance. Adam gave us plenty of time and space to take our own pace and pointed out some places of interest along the way. The display was breathtaking. We had visited Longwood a long time ago, and the new conservatory is beautiful. Highly recommended.

The company arranged to pick up our group of garden club friends at our AirBnb as we checked out, then created a custom tour for us that concluded with an airport drop off. Full service! Laura was our delightful guide for the day. Laura was easy going and fit seamlessly into our group. We started the day with a ride out to Brandywine Valley. Along the way, Laura shared her knowledge of the history, industry, and political background of the area. We learned about the founding of the Pennsylvania colony and the City of Brotherly Love. She captivated our group with her strong command of all these subjects. We switched gears and enjoyed an incredible shopping and lunch visit to Terrain- recommended by WeVenture. We all loved it! Then we had a fantastic tour of Longwood Gardens. Laura deftly covered the botanical background, the DuPont family history, and the creation of the world famous gardens and conservatory. Breathtaking! On the way back to the city, she took us on a scenic route through the rolling hills. She shared fascinating details about the architecture, interiors, and owners of several significant homes in the area. Laura was the perfect tour guide! She gave us a day that was tailor made to our group. Highly recommend!

Dale was a great tour guide. He drove us to the garden and we had great conversation and info along the way. We chose to tour the gardens of n pur own. The gardens are not to be missed! I highly recommend this tour with Dale.
