Sunset Strip
Lunch at Mel's Diner:The ultimate 50’s dining experience! George Lucas filmed scenes for American Graffiti at a Mel’s Diner. The one on Sunset Strip, where we stop for lunch on the full-day tour, is still a great place for celebrity spotting! You don’t ā€œhaveā€ to have lunch here – but why wouldn’t you want to? You just might recognize someone famous at the next table. Don’t let their clever disguise (Rayban(tm) sunglasses) fool you! Dine with the stars! (lunch is not included).
10
Rodeo Drive
Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive: This is a city where the pawn shops are called ā€œcollateral lenders,ā€ and make quick loans on Mercedes and Ferraris instead of toasters. This is a city where some of the clothing stores require customers to make advance reservations to shop, and where shoppers may routinely drop $100,000 or more in a single visit to a boutique on Rodeo Drive or Wilshire Blvd. A city where the post office offers valet parking. This town’s ā€œSister Cityā€ is none other than Cannes, France.
11
Venice Beach Boardwalk
Venice Beach: Hilary Duff shot a video here, Jim Morrison and the Doors and bandleader Benny Goodman both got their careers started here, and now it is the place actors Jane Fonda, Viggo Mortensen and Elijah Wood call home. It’s Venice Beach, the free-spirited beach resort town beloved for its Bohemian character, boutiques, street performers, artists, fortune tellers on the boardwalk and as a stellar place for people-watching (not to mention star-gazing)!Muscle beach and much more.... Due to Venice Beach city conditions, we might substitute Venice Beach to Fisherman's Village in Marina Del Rey. Please note: It will take 45 minutes drive

Myself, my wife and our daughter booked a private tour. Alberto was our guide and WOW!!! he was amazing, kind, funny and knew everything and is a huge movie buff (ask him about Downton Abbey, lol) and did all this even with a sore throat (sorry we missed his singing voice, lol) and he never once make excuses. We went all over the city and even sneeked down Rodeo Drive, lol.. He showed us every site we wanted to see and some site we never knew about, even had a surprise for our special needs daughter who is a big MJ fan by showing her the house from the Thriller video while playing the song. We stopped at Mel's Diner and the Banna & Pineapple shake suggestion was perfect *Thank you Alberto* along with great food. We felt we packed in 2 days of site seeing in the full day we were with Alberto which made it even better as we were on a whisstlestop visit. Thank you Alberto, you really did make the holiday extra special, we couldn't have asked for a better day than what you provided....

We had a fantastic day touring the LA area. We were 2 adults and 17 teenagers, so we had two vans to ourselves, and they stayed together all day. Entertaining and knowledgable drivers John and Gabriel, great stops, ample time at each stop. The kids requested a stop at In & Out on the way back to the hotel, and the drivers were happy to get us there. Will definitely use Sun Seekers again and recommend them to other travelers.

Seeing Hollywood sign. Walking around Hollywood . Mel’s diner was great. Only wish is we had stopped at Santa Monica pier/beach instead of Venice/Muscle Beach. Tour guide was great.

Thanks for your comments regarding your recent tour with us. Venice VS Santa Monica is often a challenge. Santa Monica, like Beverly Hills, has imposed significant access restrictions which have made comfortable visits very difficult to achieve. Venice, on the other hand, is easy to get to but gets marked different reviews. Some love it, while others are very disappointed with it. Thanks for your comment concerning your guide, Gabriel. I am certain he will appreciate reading it.
