I recently flew into LAX and planned on taking Lyft to my home in Orange County. I arrived at the LaExit ride app pickup location and selected Lyft for a ride home. The price shown was $70. Since it was slightly higher than usual I stood and thought for a bit about other ride options but then hit the select ride. The trip to Orange County was uneventful and took the amount of time it usually did to get to my home. After I was settled in the house I received a receipt from Lyft showing a ride charge of $109.99, not including tip. I've contacted them and their response was if you don't select the ride button withing 10 seconds the rate can change. Yet they don't tell you that. Recommendation: beware of Lyft.

Did not show up. Called them and they sent a Uber. Not even the kind I needed. Horribly disappointing!!!
